Japanese authorities have released transcripts of the conversations leading up to the fatal plane collision at Tokyo's Haneda airport yesterday. The accident happened when Japan Airlines Flight 516 collided with a coast guard plane. Transcripts have shown that the control tower had given the passenger jet permission to land, but the smaller coast guard plane was not cleared for take-off. Five people on board the coast guard aircraft were killed. All passengers and crew on the JAL flight were evacuated safely.
