Shopping List:
Candied Bacon:
1 tbsp sriracha
1-2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
salt & black pepper
6 pieces of bacon
1/4 cup brown sugar
Deviled Eggs:
12-14 eggs
1/2 cup mayo
1 tbsp dijon mustard
2-3 tbsp sweet relish
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
pinch of sugar
old bay seasoning
Directions:
Boil eggs your preferred method (either boil for 12 minutes or bring to a boil and turn off the heat, cover and let sit for 20 minutes) - once eggs are hard boiled, add to ice water. Crack and remove shell and rinse. Slice in half and empty the yolk into a mixing bowl. Mix together all ingredients for filling and fill egg whites.
For Bacon: Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line baking sheet with wire rack and add bacon. Place in the oven for 10 minutes and then flip. Flip every 5-10 minutes or until bacon is 75% of the way "done". Mix together glaze ingredients with whisk and then coat each piece of bacon evenly during the last 10 minutes or so of cooking time. Once bacon is crisp and candied, remove to a plate and chop to top your eggs.
