Miko Peled is an Israeli-American activist, author, and international speaker, born and raised in Jerusalem. He is the author of two powerful books: The General's Son: The Journey of an Israeli in Palestine, and Injustice: The Story of the Holy Land Foundation Five. His father was an Israeli General who fought in 1948 and again in 1967, his grandfather signed Israel's Declaration of Independence, and Miko also served briefly in the IDF. His experiences led him to become one of the clearest voices calling for justice in Palestine, for support of the Palestinian call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions, and for the creation of a single democracy with equal rights in all of historic Palestine.
