The world watched on as history was made, but not the kind of history many were expecting. And Hollywood wasn’t at all too thrilled over the plot twist.

Actors and musicians such as Zoe Saldana, Madonna, Eva Longoria and Ariana Grande made their voices heard on Twitter and Snapchat, expressing a range of emotions, including surprise, concern and disappointment over the outcome of the pivotal race.
