{Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (13 October 1948 - 16 August 1997) was a Pakistani performer, principally a vocalist of Qawwali, the reflection music of the Sufis. Generally viewed as one of the best voices at any point recorded, he had a phenomenal scope of vocal capacities and could perform at an elevated degree of power for a few hours. Broadening the 600-year-old Qawwali custom of his family, Khan is generally attributed with acquainting Qawwali music with worldwide crowds. He is prominently known as "Shahenshah-e-Qawwali", signifying "The Lord of Qawwali". Brought into the world in Faisalabad, Khan had his most memorable public exhibition at 16 years old, at his dad's Jhelum. He turned into the top of the family Qawwali party in 1971.
