त्रिकाग्निकालाय कालाग्निरुद्राय
नीलकण्ठाय मृत्युंजयाय
सर्वेश्र्वराय सदा शिवाय

भावार्थ :
योग के स्वामी (आदियोगी) महादेव
तीसरी आँख वाले जो स्तरित अभिव्यक्ति को समाप्त करता है (भौतिक, सूक्ष्म, आकस्मिक)
वह जो समय के तीनो अस्तित्व को समाप्त करता है। (भूत, वर्तमान, भविष्य)
भैरव का एक रूप जो दुनिया के अंत में विनाशकारी है, जो हिंसक है।
जिसकी गर्दन नीली है, जिसने मृत्यु पर विजय पा लिया है।
जो सभी प्राणियों के स्वामी, वह जो सारी सृष्टि का सार है, फिर भी उससे अछूता है।

Meaning:
Yogeshwaraya = The Lord and Master of Yoga (Adiyogi)
Mahaadeva=Great God; Maha=great; Deva: God(God of Demi-Gods); Great one among the class of Suras, Devas, and other Angelic beings.
Trayambakaaya: Three eyed one; One with the third eye of omniscience.
Tripurantakaaya: He who ends the layered (Physical, Astral, Casual) manifestation.
Trikaagni-Kaala: He who ends the three (Past, Present, Future) fold existence of Time.
Kaalaagni: A form of Bhairava that is the destructive fire at the end of the world
Rudraaya: The violent one
Nilakanta: He whose neck is Blue, (from swallowing the poison to save the Gods) the whole existence which is blue is part of himself.
Mrityunjaya: He whose has conquered the Lord of Death; Deathless one.
Sarveshvara: Lord of All beings.
Sadaashiva: He whose is of the nature of Consciousness and bliss, He who is the essence of all creation, yet untouched by it.
Mahadevaya: The Great God.
