After saving a baby that was having a seizure, Brutus the pit bull from Tulsa is now being hailed a hero.

A local group rescued Brutus from a home in north Tulsa. A family in southeastern Oklahoma later adopted him. The family that adopted Brutus has a boy with a seizure disorder and they realized Brutus could sense when the boy was about to have a seizure. The rescue group said they knew Brutus was special, but until he helped save a life they didn't how special he was. The Hawkins family told FOX23 that Brutus would always alert them when the boy was having a seizure so they could make sure the boy was ok.
