ABOUT
After I had finally finished recording The Lord of the Rings back in January this year (It’s not on this channel, sorry), I found myself wondering what book I could read that would allow me to create lots of voices. From out of nowhere, these books popped into my head, and so here we are.
I first read these books in the early 90s and quickly became a fan of the series penned by these two amazing authors, and I devoured not only this series but other works too: The Dark Sword trilogy, and The Deathgate Cycle (7 epic books).
Admittedly, the story and writing is incomparable to Tolkien, but this book’s strength lies in it’s characters and their journey by the end of the trilogy. Particularly Raistlin!
You’ll note however, that this is just book 1 of the aforementioned trilogy. I am sorry to say that I have at this stage no plans to continue recording these books, as my objective is purely to give these books some more attention and hopefully set a few people down the path to discover the rest for themselves. Additionally, I will never place more than 2 arguably copyrighted books on this channel (reading aloud is a terrible crime!). Sorry, I will not risk another channel (this is also the reason why I have had to splice this into a long version).
